Synopsis

A man and a woman sit at a corner table in a restaurant, their situation ambiguous and indistinct. Suddenly, something breaks—a small sound that causes something vital in their emotional dynamic to also shatter. As a direct result, the woman detaches from her place, rises, and abruptly disappears, leaving the man alone in a state of stunned disbelief.

Creators’ Statement: An Unstable Experience

Our primary goal with DISTURBANCE was to create an atmosphere that is different, unstable, and exciting—one that operates entirely without a traditional narrative or predictable logic.

To achieve this, we rely on minimal visual elements combined with rapid, somewhat incomprehensible timing. We seek to challenge the viewer’s expectations and create a new, destabilizing experience in their perception. The film is designed to feel like a sudden, inexplicable shift.
