A person bounces relentlessly on a trampoline, with each jump visibly higher than the last. This relentless striving continues until they break free, ascending not only from the animated frame but even from the bounds of the computer screen itself—vanishing into real space.

Creators’ Statement: Never Satisfied

JUMPER is a whimsical reflection on someone who is never satisfied with the natural height of their leap, constantly striving to go higher until they vanish from sight entirely.

This idea was inspired by watching children in our neighborhood spring across trampolines in the warmth of spring and summer—a sight that is endlessly captivating, where each bound seems to multiply their joy. Yet, sometimes we can’t help but wonder: how high can they really go? The film captures this thrilling impulse toward limitless aspiration.

Production Insight

At just 30 seconds, JUMPER is a testament to the dynamic possibilities of animation. The sheer momentum of the character’s ascent, achieved through our hand-drawn, low-tech method, gives the final act of breaking the frame a powerful, joyful sense of release and freedom.
